Ostankino TV Tower welcomes Cup!

The Ostankino Tower accepted the main tournament trophy among the first significant places in Russia. The Cup was handed over to Russia by the International Volleyball Federation. It is symbolic that the tallest tower in our country has given a start to competitions in this "high" kind of sport!

The Cup, accompanied by security officers, was lifted to the observation deck for taking its photos against the background of the Moscow panorama. Main matches of the Championship will take place in the capital. Next, the Cup will go on a tour of the other Russian regions - participants.

Our country hosts the FIVB 2022 Championship for the first time in modern history. The tournament will be held from August 26 to September 11, 2022 in 10 cities. These are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Krasnoyarsk.
